Overview

This Privacy Statement applies to all applications owned & operated or managed by “Show Me Television”. (collectively, “us”, “we”, or “our”). This Statement governs our Apps and the Users’ use of our managed Apps. “Our Apps” refers to any of our managed properties across Mobile App, Web, Over The Top (“OTT”), Connected Television (“CTV”), or Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) devices available in their respective app stores.

Our Applications

While using any application managed or developed by Show Me Television, the respective app store or operating system may collect user data. We do not control nor manage this information and advise that you adhere to the terms and conditions provided by the platform or provider and the respective app store.

Children (13 and under)

We at Show Me Television take privacy very seriously. Including children under 13 years of age. To our knowledge, we are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA. We do not collect or knowingly collect information from any adolescent under the age of 13. We do not knowingly place ads on our properties directed to children under the age of 13. Our website, apps, or services are all developed and directed toward users 13 years of age or older. If a parent or guardian is under the believe that their child’s privacy rights or security has been compromised, please reach out to us immediately so that we can take action and remove the data.

Adults and Teens

Sometimes we collect data from users over the age of 13 for better user experience and app functionality. Some information is collected in real-time from our Apps including, IP Address, Device, Device Advertising ID, Language preference, Service Provider, and Geological location. (ie, zip code, DMA or non-address specified) We reserve the right to re-use outside, 3rd party data to coincide with our data to better suit our users’ experience.

Reporting Analytics & App Technology

Some of our apps collect and store user preferences or settings to further enhance our users’ app experience. We work with 3rd parties and demand sources who also use technology to collect user data including Device Identifiers, Device Advertising IDs, IP Addresses, and information of our user’s usage of our services.

Additionally, “Show Me Television” works with 3rd party providers who also collect and sometimes store data to better suit our users’ experience. Utilizing information such as unique Device Identifiers or IP addresses’ associated with your digital device. This information is not personally identifiable and de-identified to better serve the privacy of our users. We do not store nor transfer names, specific addresses, or telephone numbers.

In return for some of the premium features of ‘Show Me Television Partner Solutions’, you may choose to be a peer on the “API Automations Data Network”. By doing so you agree to have read and accepted the Terms of Service of “API Automations”.

User-Based Targeting

Show Me Television works with 3rd party’s to better establish user experience in regard to data collection. This information is not personally identifiable and de-identified. We do not store nor transfer names, specific addresses, or telephone numbers. In regards to users under the age of 13, we do not target adolescence’ in accordance with COPPA guidelines.

Security

Show Me Television takes the up most precautions to secure our users’ security and privacy both from data usage by ourselves and data usage from our 3rd party partners. We abide by domestic and international regulations and laws governing data rights, usage, and privacy.

Multi State Privacy Act

In accordance with the Multi-State Privacy Agreement (MSPA), California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Virginia Consumer Data Privacy Act (VCDPA), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), and Connecticut Act Concerning Personal Data Privacy (CAPDP), users’ who reside in these states require us and other media-related companies to fulfill additional notices detailing state related users’, legally protected data rights.

Unique identifiers such as IP addresses and device advertising IDs are collected for the sole purpose of optimizing our users’ experience. This information is sometimes passed along to our 3rd party or our advertising partners. This information is used to enable providers and filter out fraudulent activity among other nefarious parties.

Electronic Network Activity and Commercial Information data, including user interactions with our managed apps, user search trends, and buying history are for internal use only. As a US resident, you have the right to make the following requests twice every 12 months:

  • The right to request a copy of the personal information that we have collected about you in the previous 12 months.
  • The right to request details about the categories of personal information that we collect, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting information, and the categories of third parties with which we share information.
  • The right to request deletion of the personal information that we have collected about you, subject to certain exemptions.
  • The right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information that we have collected about you. (subject to exemptions)
  • The right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information.

Option to Opt-Out

If you would like to opt-out, please submit a request HERE with the IP Address associated with the devices that you have viewed our apps or managed properties from.

Show Me Television will update and provide notice to all of our users via this ‘Privacy Policy’ with the most current update stated.

Messaging Terms & Conditions

When you opt-in to the service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup.

By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Show Me Television for Show Me. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with Show Me. Show Me Television reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages. Show Me Television also reserves the right to change the short code or phone number where messages are sent.

Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time by texting “STOP”. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, we will send you a message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed and no more messages will be sent. If you would like to receive messages from Show Me Television again, just sign up as you did the first time and Show Me Television will start sending messages to you again.

Transfer of Number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at contact@showmetelevision.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Messaging Terms Changes

We reserve the right to change or terminate our messaging program at any time. We also reserve the right to update these Messaging Terms at any time.
